Independent Writers of Chicago
For years, our annual Writers’ Roundtable has been among the organization’s most popular programs for members and non-members alike. And with very good reason. Where else can you learn so much so quickly from other writers about topics of interest to us all? In any Writers’ Roundtable, those issues may range from getting paid more promptly to obtaining and keeping clients to how much to charge and much more.
Anyone and everyone can talk about whatever's on their mind -- as it relates to their freelance writing business. Come with questions. Come with answers. Whether it's to get advice and/or lend your own hard-earned words of wisdom, join us in a lively hour-long session and experience for yourself why the Roundtable is a perennial favorite!
Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.
Note to IWOC members: Our Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Elections + the vote on a special issue will begin at 5:45, followed by the 6:00pm program.
FREE for IWOC Members. Non-members, pay $10 with online preregistration (just click "Register") or $15 at the door. (Members need not register.)
