Independent Writers of Chicago
Relying on the royalties from a published book's sales is the tried-and-true means of making money from your writing. But in the digital age, there exist many more options to monetize your work and reach a far wider audience. Among the fastest growing: Audiobooks.
At November's meeting, audiobooks expert Kevin Theis will spell out the options now open to writers. From ACX to Findaway Voices to his own company, Fort Raphael Publishing, Kevin will explain the many avenues for writers to turn their current, printed work into easy-to-download audio projects, sometimes at a cost and sometimes not.
