Independent Writers of Chicago
Many writers dream of embarking on travel writing careers, but their journeys somehow get derailed before they begin. Come join us in November, when experienced, peripatetic travel writers Pamela Dittmer McKuen, IWOC members Cindy Bertram and Kathryn Occhipinti exchange stories, discuss how to gain travel writing gigs and share thoughts on whether today's writers really can punch tickets for fun and steady income within this coveted field.
Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
Networking, with snacks and beverages begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.
(Until then, check out Cindy's fascinating How Six Women Executives Steer the Cruise Industry Today; Kathryn's engaging books on Conversational Italian and French, Pamela's exquisite travel blog, All the Write Places.)
