It appeared at the American Writers Museum. City Hall. NextDoor Chicago. Libraries throughout Chicago and neighboring 'burbs. And now the galaxy-famous traveling "Life in the Freelance Lane" show is coming to IWOC itself!
Ready to turn your writing hobby into a career? Make the leap from full-time to freelance? Or simply brush up your business skills for even greater success? Join IWOC President Laura Stigler, IWOC Program Director Jeff Steele, and IWOC past President David Steinkraus as they help you navigate the business basics, opportunities, challenges and rewards of a freelance writing career.
Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at (note new time) 5:45 pm, ending 7:15pm.
The meeting is FREE for IWOC members. Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.
All attendees are welcome to join us for a buy-your-own dinner at a nearby restaurant after the meeting.
IWOC monthly meetings are held in Room 4F at the Gratz Center, 126 E. Chestnut Street, adjacent to the historic Fourth Presbyterian Church (see map, below).
