Join IWOC-ers at our September meeting as we learn how to maximize our hiring potential via the LinkedIn social media platform.

LinkedIn is the key social media site for busy professionals. But do you know how to tap into its power? Presenter Lori Howard is a career transformation coach who guides people in utilizing job search tools to find ideal career opportunities. She launched her company, Unearth Your Worth®, after 15 years of corporate world experience.

Lori will teach us how to create a LinkedIn profile that lands writing jobs and assignments. We’ll discover how to be found by the jobs we want and how to grasp the importance of using LinkedIn to develop and grow our professional networks.

Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting is free for IWOC members. Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.

All attendees are welcome to join us for a buy-your-own dinner at a nearby restaurant after the meeting.

SPECIAL NOTE TO IWOC MEMBERS

Our September meeting is also our annual business meeting, which will start at 5:45 p.m. If you're a member, we invite you to participate in the proceedings.

If you're not a member, be patient; the program will start on time at 6:00 p.m.
