For many, a great deal of business comes through contacts and networking. That's why maintaining a strong network and nurturing relationships with key contacts can help you gain new customers.
At our March meeting, Stacey Pitts Caldwell, Center Director for the Illinois Small Business Development Center, will take the dais to explain how to turn networking opportunities into profitable client relationships.
In this fast-paced hour session, IWOCans will plan which networking activities to join, think about which events and activities make sense to attend, decide how to expand and use their network as well as how to keep in contact with the people that are most important to the growth of the business.
Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is free for IWOC members. Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.
IWOC monthly meetings are held in Room 4F at the Gratz Center, 126 E. Chestnut Street, adjacent to the historic Fourth Presbyterian Church (see map, below).
