PERFECT YOUR 90-SECOND PITCH
Having learned how to network at our March meeting, you could be asking yourself how to make the most of the minute and a half you may have when meeting an important potential client or contact.
That question will be answered at our April meeting, when IWOC favorites Alyssa Burns and Jill Fahlgren return to the Gratz Center dais to delight their audience for the first time since March 2018.
This time around, advisor, connector and writer Burns and executive coach Fahlgren explain why every writer should have a 90-second pitch, how to hone that pitch and ways to make it work for you in networking situations. By the end of this interactive session, everyone attending should possess [a] perfect pitch!
Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is free for IWOC members. Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.
All attendees are welcome to join us for a buy-your-own dinner at a nearby restaurant after the meeting.
IWOC monthly meetings are held in Room 4F at the Gratz Center, 126 E. Chestnut Street, adjacent to the historic Fourth Presbyterian Church (see map, below).
